A head shot while under duress. Dang. Maybe luck but she's alive the bad guy not. May she be able to find peace with what that bastard forced her to do.

Does anyone doubt that the escaped convict was not there to do great bodily harm to the home owner.

She has to live with the fact she killed someone. A low life POS human did did not deserve to live.

She's either a pretty good shot or a poor one. Doesn't matter one whit as long as this guy won't be around to create victims

Aim small, miss small.....going for the head. I would have gone for a torso shot, and then emptied the clip to ensure there was only one story to tell.

It's a shame he didn't have an accomplice for her to shoot too.

I think you would be hard pressed to find too many opposing people legally getting handguns.

One shot, one Kill.........perhaps an accident if she was aiming for the torso. But I will give her credit and say she is a better shot than me!
