My father passed, and as I do every year, I am down at the club, buying him a gin & tonic and toasting him.

I never thought of doing that, never drank with the old man very much and he wasn't much of a drinker either.

A few years ago I did see a pack of Pall Mall cigarettes at a store while trying to find a cigar for the road. I bought it and had a few, it was the brand I used to buy at the local chicken coop/party store for him as a kid.

Looks like you do have a grand tradition there.

BTW - the Mug is tits too.

I never considered drinking beer with a straw, going to have to try that.

Never did either - It's a nice tradition.

My mom was not a drinker, when she did it was a Manhattan. I like Manhattans - I think of her at a family wedding or special event when she would have one.
