CARFAX is getting pushy
I'm getting multiple emails FROM CARFAX telling me my truck is overdue for service.
The thing is, they are telling me my truck is overdue for service that was performed 4 weeks ago. Does anyone know what makes carfax think they know my truck's service schedule and/or service history? This started after I took my truck to a local dealer for service. If my servicing dealer is telling them, he's wrong, and he ought to know better. I'm wondering if this is something new and carfax is getting the info from the dealer who sold me the truck 2 years ago. If that's the case it's just a coincidence that I'm getting the emails now. I'm worried that this is going to go on my permanent record and when I sell the car there will be a carfax report that says I've been lax with the service - and I'll get put on double secret probation or something.

Each company I do business with gets their own email address - really easy for me to see who is passing off my info to 3rd parties

Any chance that it's a spoof?
If not, unsubscribe. I had been getting Robo-calls from the local Subaru dealer telling me that my wife's Subaru was due for service. "9 to stop these calls" didn't stop those calls. Two calls to the Services manager didn't stop those calls. I was in the neighborhood last week and visited the Service manager. I expect that I won't get any more calls.
