Obviously not even a blip in search analytics, but nevertheless, he still is represented in about 50% of page one.

Yeah, I wouldn't consider the questions they were asking as "tough". Some were actually, quite, how shall I put it.....lacking in knowledge, just to be kind?
If Google did manipulate the search, which I have seen no proof, it would be a bit childish in my opinion, but hey, their company to do as they wish, and your prerogative to use them or not.

Sorry I am not Kachi so I do not have 10 hours to spend researching the topic and posting 100's of links and graphs.
The evidence is out there and overwhelming that Google screws with logarithms and is biased. They even said in their Friday weekly meeting after Trump was elected they were going to fix this. There is a video proving this and there are internal memo's between higher ups supporting this as well. Go look I have seen them.
You can go on blissfully ignorant this is not happening, I am not here to fight with you.
I still use Gmail, google maps etc.... despite this because I am a hypocrite that does not have time to switch away. One day I shall. Possibly in January since I tend to slow down then and have more free time.
Just because you are not familiar with Duck Duck go does not mean it is not being used. I use it and noticed a big change in my search results.
Enjoy your day fellas I have to run and get s out in the field now.
