Fantastic pics of fantastic cars, like the GT40

From the GT40 thread, there are tons of pics of tons of great cars on the Sotheby's site.
Go here and click on "Lots" on any of the listings.

Like this series of high quality, high res, detail pics of a Porsche 908.

I think the oldest car that I saw was a 1901, and there are very new vehicles. There are cars, trucks, a few odd "motorcycles", Porsches of just about every kind, Lambos, Ferraris, American and European, some cool muscle cars and some micro cars, buses and motorhomes, a batmobile, collectibles, gas pumps, parking meters, tools, even some art deco antique radios, books, posters, collectibles and even a 2008 Bullitt Mustang (should Paul need a spare). There were even a couple of military vehicles.

Even some gems like this beauty!
1985 Pontiac Parisenne (it didn't sell :shocked

This seems like a heck of a bargain for a man cave. Carbon fiber front and rear (including racing seat of what looks like some sort of sports car prototype including the headlights for $1725)

I just can't explain this.

While perusing a Concours that we have at a yacht club here in Houston, I've thought, "wow, those old hood ornaments from the 1920s are amazing, that would be something to collect." Yeah, it would be, since there were several that sold for anywhere from $2k - 6.5k
