Good place to sell watches?
Most of my watches are Japanese but I do have a gold Hamilton that is kinda small so I almost never wear it.
In the past I have used PMWF (not sure if they are even still around) but it is pretty much a person to person sale so not a lot of security. Then of course there is eBay but you have to pay them their cut. Any ideas suggestions?

I've sold a few on Timezone.com but again you have to have 100 post.
Ebay sux but but still a viable oulet for selling stuff... I don't have any other suggestion except maybe try something local with an app like Offer Up.

Try and sell it here. At least you know the guys. Since it is Japanese stuff, probably Seiko or Citizen, you could go through Craigslist. It can be an irritation, but it will probably sell. Seiko divers usually do well on CL. However, if it is a Grand or King Seiko, let us know!

I think eBay now has a verification service for all higher end watches. Necessarily this requires you send it somewhere for that verification. I don't know if this is a GOOD place to sell one - but it is A place.

 I have used Chonograph trader in the past to purchase, not to sell, I need to look into the rules there. ChronoTrader Forum - Message Index If anyone is interested in a REC 901 watch I am toying with selling mine. It is brand new in the box never been worn. It comes with 2 spare straps. $1400 shipped for watch and 2 bands. Check out watchrecon.com. Pulls from several watch sites...so almost everything for sale on the web is there. Take your pic of individual sites to list your watch. I’ve had good luck with TRF even for non-Rolex watches.
