No idea on were to find one but that looks like a traditional Russian/East European shirt.

That is or is very similar to a Latino/Mexican/Cuban wedding shirt. They should be all over South Florida.

Tabs can pick you up a couple dozen for a buck each on his next shopping trip! They'll of course be almost new/never worn too. Need any Dragon azz jeans or Italian loafers to complete the ensemble?

I think you’ll need a Delorean and go back in time to the 70’s to get one.

FYI I buy all my Hawaiian shirts on Ebay. You can find some good Diamond Head shirts, Spooners, etc cheap.

You might have to make a foray into Mexico. It seems like all you can get on Amazon, for instance, are guayaberas. I got married the first time in a shirt like that (Mexican wedding shirt) I bought in TJ. My new wife at the time had it dry cleaned and it melted the buttons. She wasn't too savvy in that respect.

Holy crap, Craig! DH Sportswear was our friend's company. They even had a store in the Int'l Matketplace, right on Kalakaua! Mom was the bookkeeper, and made me work there the summer I graduated. They had about 15 stores throughout Waikiki that I had to deliver stock to everyday.

Thanks for all the replies and input.
You guys are a riot! I already have a pretty good inventory of Reyne Spooner shirts as well as other brand Hawaiian shirts. Got some really cool ones too. Was looking for some of the embroidered ones though, similar to the one I posted. I think Mexico is a good prospect and I'm sure there are other places. I will keep looking and post again if I find anything. Thanks again! |
