My Airedale and cat would hunt together..
Mostly the Airedale and cat would live and let live, like ships in the night...but every once in awhile they would work together...I think that they had a family type relationship understanding with each other.
What surprised me was that one day the cat was laying out on the driveway and nonchalantly let one of the neighbors dogs get within about 15 feet of her...no problem...the Airedale was out in the front yard as well.
Whenever I took the dog for a walk the cat would sit on a block wall at the end of the cul de sac waiting for us to come back. One day she even went with us, I guess curiosity got the better of her.
I miss them.
