Did anyone else get "Haggerty Drivers Club" in the mail?

What is this a new way to raise my rates? I have five cars with them and I haven't heard one word out of them in years, but today I was sent stickers and a plastic card. Did anyone get this?

I got one and my rate went down.

It’s $45 and up for a membership. I want to know if I can still get coverage without having to join the club. My a^3 card and my car magazines are enough for me. I’ve asked my insurance agent to find out

Got it. Under the impression that it is included with my policy. If not, I am probably out as I get enough car mags.

On Saturday I received my renewal statement in the mail, the "Drivers Club" is $45 in addition to the policy. I logged in and tried to remove it but I can't so I guess I'm calling them tomorrow.

I renewed in November and there was no mention of Driver's Club. This sounds a lot like the BS 'Resort fees' that are all the rage with hotels these days. Resort fees piss me off to no end. If you want to raise room rates, just raise the damn rate, don't throw in some BS made up fee.

So they added a service you didn't ask for and are charging you for the privilege? They must be taking their cues from Comcast.

I spoke with Hagerty and if you already had the towing and roadside package called Hagerty Plus nothing changed. It is just a re-branding with greater benefits and discounts now open to the Public as Hagerty Drivers Club.
