Wierd computer behavior

(or rather weird browser behavior)

I was browsing Pelican Parts and then went to my Yahoo mail page.
I typed in "john70t" by mistake.
Oopsie. I realized the mistake and hit [backspace] to erase the text.

Suddenly I was back on the Pelican login page.
Huh? What just happened?

Because one update is not enough:

Unlike the other taskbar icons you can't exit Windows Update or prevent the pop-ups.

Windows Malicious Software Removal Tool now requires an indemnification acceptance screen aka EULA.
Red flag.

The Conexant audio driver(which has a possible keystroke logger vulnerability) still tries to update, even though it's been replaced by Realtek.

Backspace is an alternative for the back button of the browser. You may have inadvertently touched the mouse/trackpad and moved the cursor off the text box...

What they said. Irritates me when I click in a box to start typing, mistype and then try to backspace and instead go back a page or two.

If a real input box (not something made to look like one by graphic designers and various javascript includes) has focus, the backspace shouldn't trigger the brower's back function.

/ hate JS created by "tea drinking mac users"

You could have stopped at “I hate JavaScript” and been all good.
