I'm looking for something with stol capabilities and fits part 103. Ercoupes cool but real planes out of my budget.

I had a Mooney version of the Ercoupe (M-10 Cadet). It was a lot of fun at very low cost. I used to fly my girlfriend over LA at night with the canopy back...open cockpit. It was fun until I really wanted to go distances. Enjoy.

Just Aircraft has the Super STOL. Don't know what the price is. Probably less than a Carbon Cub.

How about an Aeronca Champ?
