Email client for Gmail
I really don't like the recent changes to Gmail web interface.
Is anyone using (and happy with) alternative email clients that work with gmail? |
Any email client can be used with gmail
No need for a gmail specific client If you already use outlook, mail, Apple mail, whatever comes with your phone, gmail can be added |
Ask Hillary about how to set up email accounts.
|
Looking for a recommendation for windows. Used to use outlook years ago.
|
Are you still using Outlook? If you are wanting a desktop email client take a look at Thunderbird https://www.thunderbird.net/en-US/
|
No. I have not used outlook in a few years. I've been using the web interface through chrome. They took away functionality like hovering over an email address and right clicking would bring up all emails from that sender.
That's how I used to 'mass delete' all emails from home depot, etc. Now I have to cut past and search. |
+1 for Thunderbird or Outlook. A warning though, the Outlook app for Android is a pos.
|
I happen to believe that Outlook combined with Office 365 / Exchange is a fabulous product combination.
And you all know I'm no MSFT fanboy. The spam filtering rivals, and I think lately, surpasses Gmail. |
Google - "all your emails are belong to us"
Installed thunderbird, google blocked login: Less secure app blocked Google blocked the app you were trying to use because it doesn't meet our security standards. |
That thing you didn't read but clicked you agreed to get your email account says they have the right to read all your emails incoming and outgoing.
I use Outlook because it comes with my work. |
You can also reconfigure gmail to be displayed the old way.
