When I turned 40, my next door neighbors gave me a bag of presents including things like Gas-X, hemorrhoid cream, false teeth adhesive, etc., etc. Odd to think it's uncomfortably near the matching number of years past that time.

Somehow the bigger "speed limit signs" birthdays seem to matter more than the years in-between to many people. It is just a number.
