Gearing up for 2019 Indycar season
I've been waiting all winter for the season to start. Last year was epic--the best racing I've seen in a long time, the cars were beautiful again, and my hero Scott Dixon took the crown. This year we'll have Alonzo at Indy again, plus a whole flock of rookies. My only regret is that Robert Wickens got hurt last year. He's doing great though, all things considered.
Last year, we spent two days at the Portland race, which was great, but we missed the Thursday session, which is supposedly more relaxed and has an autograph session. Plan to go all three days this year. Also thinking of driving somewhere else to watch another race--maybe the St Louis one, which is the week before Portland. Then I could just follow the haulers back out west. Anyway--St Pete next weekend. Should be great. |
