Armed and dangerous..........
 

I went to a gun auction on Saturday and came home with a real prize! It is a Daisy pump action (Model 25 I think) BB gun! I had one when I was about 10 years old, kept it in good condition for years and then made the mistake of loaning it to a friend. Months later when he brought it back, it was rusty from end to end! I told him that he could keep it as I did not want it back in that condition! I believe that Daisy made these things from about 1920 thru about 1978. This one is in remarkably good condition considering that it is probably going on 50 years old! Somewhere around here, I have an old tube of BBs. Old enough to have a 10 cent price sticker on them! They should be just right for an old BB gun!

Borrowing it to a friend wasn’t too bad of an idea, to quote Nelson on the Simpsons when Bart asked if he could use Nelson’s BB gun “never hurts to have a second set of prints on a gun.”

I had one of those as a kid. I got it for Christmas. Never did shoot my eye out. I have walked into some stores as a 9 year old kid with that in my hand and bought a tube of bbs in a cardboard tube. Of course I used to buy 22s as a kid.
