No affect from it in MI
Slight rain this am and foggy. Tomorrow..close to 70 Friday.. 40 |
We got 1.15 inches of nice rain last night. An Oklahoma Mesonet station in the Oklahoma panhandle recorded the "lowest air pressure ever" last night. I don't know what the number is. And if that includes hurricanes, but they did say if it had happened in the day time with more moisture, it would have been a monster storm.

I am in FC and its getting pretty nasty. I still have cell coverage and power.
Annoys me too because I was supposed to be at the bank today wiring the $ for a new to me 911.... |
The winds are sweeping down the plains in Oklahoma. Later today winds of 40 mph with gusts to 70.
I read elsewhere that Lamar, Colo hit 971.0 in the last couple of hours to break the record for lowest synoptic pressure (i.e., not tornadic) in Colorado history. |
It’s snowing. And a little windy.
This and the 737 thing are Definitely affecting my flight to the beach but otherwise fine so far. Don’t have to be there till Friday. |
Every time a storm is coming in Colorado it becomes "Danger Weather!" The TV stations love this stuff. It will be bad when the weather girls can't go out and stand in the snow to tell you not to go outside..
The "Bomb Hurricane" Oops "Cyclone!" You'll survive... |
Great. Traveling tomorrow. Gonna be a suck-fest I bet.

1 hr west of CO Springs, lots of snow...8-10 in, high winds, blizzard/white out conditions...1 dead Aspen hit the dirt, no loss of power. I-25 was closed for a time from CO Springs to WY border, US 24 closed from CO Springs to Limon, CO. Personally, I cancelled appointments tomorrow in CO Springs until the roads clean up, which is ok because I have plenty of snow to clear tomorrow. I'll snow shoe around the property and assess any other damage. OBTW, CO Springs had a gust of 96 mph!
