Can anyone ID this wood steering wheel?

Are there any steering wheel experts out there that can ID this one?

It has been kicking around in the shop for a long time and probably picked it up at a swap many years ago.

I've tried and can't find what it was originally on.

Thanks

Terry

Did a quick search for GTO wheels and they all have a center singe horn button.

So the clues are:

Spline mount no ability for hub adapter, dedicated for a specific column.

Three spoke mount buttons and no single centered button.

The trumpet horn icon, is it a US, Euro, or Asia design.

The GY01 inked on the hub.

One thing I just thought of is to check the threads on the screws to see if they are metric or SAE.

Off to the garage!!

Winner Winner Winner!!!!

Don I wish I had a prize for you.

I've had this for so long and a few times I tried to ID and never any luck.

I never owned an Asian car so not sure why I have it or had picked it up at a swap meet.

I also have another wheel to ID so that will be next.

Thank you!!!

Terry

My pleasure.

The kicker was the upside down graphic on the horn button.

I got the car in 1986 and I clearly remember thinking “hmm, Honda made this car very cost efficiently. To the point they didn’t mind having an inverted graphic. No point in making 2 separate buttons”.

Smart.
