Seriously, I wonder if there will be a market for a super basic vehicle again?

I think I'd pregret buying a V6 Mustang when they sell (now several) great V8s. Does anyone here own a latest gen GT350 or have a GT500 on order?

One of my buddies has a GT350. Well....he's on his second one. The first one was lemon-lawed because it kept consuming coolant and the dealership could not find the issue (a risk with a hand-built engine). His second one is absolutely perfect and he loves it.

I don't know what the market would be for basic cars. My brother's daily driver is the 54 VW bug. Super basic car. People ask why he drives such an old car and he replies, the car does not know how old it is. It can be fixed with very basic tools. He has had it since the late 1970s and he has never had to be towed home.
