What?!?!
|
![]() This one is very close, but it has the logo engraved on center spoke. And the dimensions are a little off from the hole to the wood on each spoke. Does yours have any evidence of a logo being removed? Doesn't look like it in the pic. Most of the steering wheels I found have 6 mounting holes.

Yes it does look close to the Grant. The 5 hole mount is what separates this from the others.
Were Grants made in Italy? No other identifying marks on it. Why would they not fully stamp in Italy? The search continues.............

'Dino' was an aftermarket, lower end steering wheel manufacturer back in the day, made in Italy. They had a 5 bolt hub. Wheels were available in wood and faux leather. Looks just like your pic. The only missing item is the Dino script on the middle spoke. Had one in my 240z before I switched to a Mono.

I can't post a pic right now, but a Google search for images of Dino wood steering wheel shows the same wheel with the Dino logo and horn button

The 5 hole mount, no company logo and only partial Ital for Italy.........
Maybe the font used in Ital might help, I will get some pics of what Italian wheels I can find and see if there is any uniqueness there. Terry
