One of my neighbors did raise ostriches for their eggs many years ago, though. They are pretty darn impressive animals when you can walk right up and stand there with them. Their talons make a Velociraptor's look like little kitty claws.

I used to live on the east side of Kennewick. There was a farmer out there that kept some emus in his field; they would chase me when I rode by on my bicycle...

Tastes like beef, farmed for eating down under. Eggs are good too.
Croc is yummy too and tastes like chicken, farmed as well.

I believe I've been to that very spot. South Africa, Cape of Good Hope. Coast road near the end of the peninsula.
