Fred. "call the guy"

rwest 03-28-2019 12:26 PM

You don’t actually have to file a Police report, you can call on the non-emergency number or go to the station and ask to talk to the duty officer and tell him/her what is going on/show them the texts and what advice they have. Getting them in the loop early will help if things get worse.

If you do follow Fint's advice, make sure you post here under the psudenym of "Oddjob Dos". Just sayin'.

That's fine. Calling the police has nothing to do with expecting them to protect him. It gets the documentation started in his favor. Maybe it scares her away. But most of all, it protects him if she escalates.

Yup.

Unfortunately it happens all the time and the police will not laugh. It is an unfortunate part of what they do for a living. It is a little unusual to have a female stalker with no prior romantic relationship, but it happens and the police are trained to be be professional and respond appropriately in the same way an they respond to an unwanted male suitor of a female victim.

Sorry, wrong IMO. Fred already tried the nicey-nice. She's antagonizing him precisely because he's being nice.

"Get the FFFFFFFFFFFFCKKKK away from me" is where Fred needs to take it.

I agree, I think the nice approach is just going to turn her on more and make her more persistent. It'd be like playing hard to get.

Went to see one of my best buds bands playing a club one night.

I get there and they are on break.

He's backed into a corner by some not very attractive groupie and looking really really uncomfortable.

He's married and loves his wife and is too nice a guy to be mean to the groupie.

So I stroll over, grab him and give him a huge kiss right on the lips. He hugs me and says "I love you".

Groupie turns around and storms off.

The I love You was him knowing exactly why I did what I did and saying thanks for getting him out of the situation.

If you try to kiss me, I am definitely calling " the guy "

Fatal attraction was out at a critical time in my development

I think every teenage boy should watch it.
This is why I never have ever played with fire

Is there any chance the fire was fueled?
Maybe it felt good for a few minutes getting the attention until reality set in

Maybe she just has a higher tolerance level for reality and needs a strong dose of it in terms of a shot across her bow

Either way the neighbors husband is f’d
She’s showed her true colours
It’s just s matter of time before she finds a willing participant

He deserves to know so he can take control of his own affairs

If you fueled the fire better to take your lumps now and fess up

Seems like it would have been a lot less disgusting if he just grew a pair and told the skank to get out of his face.

Eh. Monkey's buddy learned the quality of his friendship in a memorable way.

He gets mistaken for Frasier Crane a lot. It is seattle, you know.

Lots of good advice here. I wish I would have come to you guys when kach was stalking me.

72doug2,2S 03-28-2019 04:32 PM

You should tell her you are flattered, but you are married and that isn't going to change. Her husband makes the situation even more unrealistic. If she knows that, then what else is there?

Having fans is not your fault. Being aggressively antagonistic against them seems silly. But if she is mentally ill, all bets are off.
