Nick, no offense intended, but are you familiar with the American Revolution and how the Bill of Rights came to be included in the Constitution?

One of those radical kids killed at Kent state was William Schroder ROTC who was walking between classes.

So I think you had better straighten up your act..

You do know how to put your foot in you mouth

Popo or Military....some will "follow orders", others will be insubordinate or border on treason depending upon one's perspective imo. I've seen it first hand from the cops...quite a bit over my lifetime in fact...YMMV.

There was no one 10 feet away. Was yesterday make **** up day or something?

And he wasn't even taking part in the protests.

Fact do seem to change the narrative. You should try them.

When students start burning down buildings on campus, they need to be stopped. If people get hurt...it is largely on them.

I agree the country sucks. But if we'd stop trying to "win the hearts and minds" and just let our military do what they do, we wouldn't be there fighting 18 years later. The Russians failed because we were helping some guy named Bin Laden.

Reportedly, only 2 of the dead were protesters. Bullets can’t tell the difference and there can be lots of innocent victims when weapons are discharged in crowded areas.

I did not say there were (is today make *** up day or something?). There were certainly students a lot closer than your 81 yards. In fact, if you notice from the videos, some NG shot up in the air. Unfortunately, even those bullets come down somewhere.

If there were students who could throw those gas canisters almost 100 yards, they should have been in pro football.

It is one reason to arm yourself. Yes many will get shot down, that's what can happen when you stand up for your beliefs. The oath I took at 18 yo said in part that I would protect and defend the Constitution of the United States. That oath had no expiration date, neither does my desire to live as a free American should. Would I get shot down? Maybe. Will I stand up? Definitely. People who think as you've stated above can stay home, it's ok, we need people to sweep up when it's all over.

Maybe when you get done sweeping up the rest of those fighting with you, assuming you're still alive, you can stop by and check on me.
You also swore to defend the country from enemies foreign and domestic. Like I have said multiple times, if that day comes the side claiming oppression better be able to make a damn convincing argument or they'd be viewed as a domestic enemy of the state.

The National Guard did not show up to reign in ROTC kids walking to class. We all know that. They were called upon to quell a violent, destructive protest being staged by a bunch of spoiled brats. It's really too bad that most of the latter got away with it. The fact that innocents were killed by their indiscriminate shooting has, however, served to strengthen our resolve to never let that happen again.

That sounds like the propaganda the government puts out..

What makes you think the war would be between the govt and citizens...

It would be between right and left factions. Maybe within the govt.

Then the govt of the US is likely to collapse when the debt implodes. So there won't be much central control.

It seems that your head is tilted to the right because all your marbles have slid over to one side. Which means you see things from a slanted view...

It is the facts. When a building burns on campus, even most hippies are concerned.

LOL. I was thinking the same about you.
