Write down the serial numbers and take pics.

Report them stolen.

Then anonymously turn them in.

When the cops get in touch with you that they found your stolen bikes tell them you just left town and please hang on to them till you get back.

I kinda like that idea but I'll bet the German authorities are a little too efficient for it to work

Just chain them up in the parking garage; what could go wrong:

Leave 'em at Flojo's house. He's got plenty of room.

Garage
Google shows a few self storage places. Rent an enclosed storage locker for a few months.

Haha... I've parked a rental bike in that very parking garage before. It's in Amsterdam, right by the train station.

Vash: I am in Stuttgart, so ~2-2.5 hours by car from Frankfurt (or 1 hour by train). If you can get them to me, you're more than welcome to store them at my house.

Thanks! Working on figuring it out.
I may take you up on that offer. If so, I'll be in touch.

Hi Bob,

Sorry... I think I had just finished reading one of Vash's threads when I first responded... didn't mean to call you by another name.

I will send you an email at your user name with my contact info so you can get in touch if you want to take me up on the offer...

That was an extremely generous offer. Really wanted to take you up on it just to get to Stuttgart to meet and have a beer. Next time. Thanks!

Found a hotel a few k from Frankfurt airport that was more than happy to keep them.
They will also pick you and your bikes up from the airport and store your cases or boxes while you're on your trip.
If anybody needs their info. contact me.

Great! Glad to hear it worked out. Drop me an email next time you are in town. We’d love to get together.

This hotel you mentioned... it’s not the Velotel is it?
