2010 Toyota Tacoma
I have the itch to buy a mid sized pick-up for some time and have been focused on slightly older Tacomas....I drove a 2016 and thought it was incredibly slow and big. I test drove a 2010, 4 cylinder, access cab with just under 80k miles. I don't need 4 wheel drive or a quad cab. The frame was replaced under recall; appears to be really clean. The asking price is $11k. Any thoughts on used trucks/Tacomas specifically?
Anybody interested in a 2-door 2012 Honda Civic ? Thanks. Mike |

I have a 2014 V6 Taco. Crew Cab and 6’ bed. TRD spec. Love it. I’ve done 70k so far and nothing goes wrong with it. Since mine is the long bed it can be a pain to park sometimes. Hubs along the freeway at 80 with no sweat. Can be a bit choppy on the super slab freeway surface we encounter here in LA. I haul kayaks and dirt bikes so it suits my lifestyle. I won’t be trading it in for a long time.

Bulletproof. If the 4cyl is enough juice for you, buy it. I have a fleet of Tacos and Tundras. They are as bulletproof as anything and will run 300k if you change the fluids regularly. My 97 currently has 180k and my 98 has 240k. So far neither are burning oil and get beaten to death by field service techs daily. I have a 97, 98, 2001, 2002, 2004, 2x2006, 2009, and a 2014 Taco. 2001 and 2011 Tundra.

I don't think I'd do another access cab, the rattles and wind noise from the seriously compromised door latch arrangement have been an endless source of annoyance on our 2015 2.7 4x4 with about 80k now. Next biggest problem has been some broken plastic mudflap fasteners from hard wheeling, so yeah, it's getting replaced with another taco when its time comes.

Thanks for the responses. I called a local mechanic and will have it inspected tomorrow.....now about that Honda Civic. Any thoughts on price? Thinking about offering $9500, depending on the inspection.

Honda has deliberated over the cost of this car and has decided to aptly price it so that it can easily compete in the market and attract customers. The 2019 Honda Civic price in India extends from INR 17.69 to 20.99 Lakh for the petrol variants and INR 20.49 to 22.29 Lakh for the diesel variants. The cost for the car varies according to the fuel version selected as well as the various comfort and safety features installed in that particular iteration. As the new Honda Civic India is available in two different fuel versions (petrol and diesel) as well as transmission systems (manual and CVT automatic transmission), the variants are priced accordingly.
