oil level gauge no workie
 

993 TT. Got the gauges out to get new light bulbs installed. Now the damn oil level gauge doesn't work. It stays down and doesn't move. I took it in and had it tested and it came back in good working order. Where the heck is that sensor and how to check it? Should have just left the old dim bulbs.:mad:

Wait...you have a 993tt?

Bad ground in the gauge install is your problem. Something isn't hooked up right.

Yeah, bought it sometime ago from an old friend. Its been sitting in the corner of his warehouse for 17 years. it has 22,xxx miles.

Will pull it, jiggle the plug and try again. Thanks
