3 hours sleep

Uggh. Barely holding it together. Dad had to go to the ER at 9PM last night. Didn't get home until 2:30AM.

He knew he had a problem at 4PM. But he waited and so it was ER instead of urgent care...not to mention how many hours of pain...

Old parents are worse than children...

I remember when I was a little kid, I hated it when mom tried to make me take a nap.

Nowadays a nap is almost like Christmas.

Truth!

I always hated nap time as a kid. I have little doubt much of it was predicated on mom wanting a nap herself.

Now that I work from home and have no boss to get mad at me, I can lean back in my chair and take a nap anytime I want. If I am truly busy, my brain is in high gear and not sleepy anyway. In between projects, relax and take a nap.

I functioned for a year and a half on just a few hours of sleep a night . Sleeping on the couch in the hospital . It was pretty brutal, but you get used to it .
Funny, that I seemed to start having health problems shortly after that whole episode. It is when my blood pressure started to get high, I would wake up with headaches started gaining weight etc.
I used to love staying up late, now I love going to bed at 9;30, and getting a good nights rest .,

Get some sleep. You need it.

I spend about ten years sleep deprived, getting about 5 hours on weeknights and trying to catch up on weekends. Its not good for me.

Now I nap every chance I get. I'd rather go to bed early than go out in the evening. Yes, I'm a boring old coot.

Age is a factor. I can't pull an all nighter anymore. My daughter does so fairly often (in school).

I'm in Zombie mode with only three hours sleep, seems to take a week to fully recover from it.

Good luck, get some sleep and change your shorts often.

Maybe for 1 night. Doing it 2 nights in a row and my body wants to shut down.

Blocked catheter. ER took so long, he finally passed out and threw up from the pain. Just talked to him and he's doing great, watching a ball game. Thanks for asking.

Me? Planned to go home early, left the office at 5PM...
