Not my cup of tea, but probably deserves a restoration
Designed by Harry Bradley, this car has an honest provenance.
You'd think Mattel might use some of those Hot Wheels profits to get this thing back to its former glory. http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1556305523.jpg |
From link...
The front end modifications include six rectangular G.M. headlights that were placed in a horizontal row to form a "light bar." The system is totally legal, with the outer four headlights operating normally (as on any production vehicle with quad headlights) and the two inboard headlights operating on high beam by activating a separate switch, so the car may be driven with either four or six headlights in the high-beam mode. All six headlights are fully adjustable. Because there are so many polished planes, the headlights reflect over and over, giving a hall-of-mirrors effect. Wonder what that looks like? Hall-of-mirrors. Looks have merit with only the headlights being odd but that's 2019 judgement. |
Not because you can you should

The want is small...

Oh I would drive that. And get a rockin stereo to crank me some Thin Lizzy too.
You just have to step up the game for it. Maybe some gold chains? And a stripper... |
There were definitely worse things done to corvettes in the 70's and 80's

want is nil!

Best repair option: FIRE.

Not infrequently, there are good reasons for “1 of 1”

Wow, that has 1979 ugly written all over it.

Ugly as a mud fence, but still... this one should be saved. Hope it finds a home with a talent for resto and fabrication.

I would put it back as a stock 73, but it’s not worth enough to do that.
|
Call me crazy, but the wagon rear treatment actually looks kinda good to me. I'd replace the nose and go bask to hidden headlights, and call it a day.

Here's another "1 of 1" from the same designer:

Clearly y'all never saw "Corvette Summer" with noted thespian Mark Hamill in one of his lesser roles.
Mr Bradley also designed the 1995 Wienermobile |
