Favorite Cigar
It seems to me that good cigars and good cars just go together. I've tried all the high dollar cigars and keep coming back to the old standby Punch and Hoyo. Give me a Hoyo Sultan in double maduro any day!
Are there any other cigar smokers out there? What are your favorites? Joe 1982 911 SC |

There are a bunch of cigar smoker on the BBS, you should get some good responses...
I'm still a beginner and know nothing so not a lot of "big hitters" on this list but I have found a few I like. I love the Arturo Fuente Hemingway... although Arturo Fuente gets little respect from the cigar crowd, to be honest I haven't found another Fuente I like a lot (but I'm still looking). Another brand I like that isn't popular I presume because it is not old school is the Rocky Patel's Vintage Series. The The Dark Sumatra series from Hoyo de Monterrey and Onyx Reserve are nice maduros (the Rocky Patel's I like are maduros also.) Leon Jimenes are a nice smoke but not cheap. Bolivar makes a good cigar too IMHO.

Scott, Ashton is made by Arturo Fuente. I like them fine, but I like their Ashton line better. I don't like the taste of most other brands of cigars.

Dominicos by the Bundles...Presidente or Torpedo in Maduro..$1.80 each at the Indian Reservation.
I've had them all...I smoked the Fuentes back in 90 when they were first brought into the US...thought they were a Good cheap cigar... Smoked Romeo & Juliette #5 Reserves by the box Smoked Macanado #1 Reserves by the box Smoked Upman 1000s by the box Smoked and still smoke Hoyo Excaliber #1 maduros by the box Smoke Luis Rey Series R Maduros Smoke Partagas Black Label Pymiards by the box Smoked Monte Cristo White Label Churchills by the box Smoked the Partagas 150s by the BOX....ha That was the best GDamed Cigar EVER Smoked Avos, Punch, Gloria Cubano, Royal Jamica, Davidoffs and every other foul smelling piece of burning rope you can think of. Smoked Cuban Monte Cristos, Partagas, Romeo Juliette, CoHibas by the score... And today I can honestly say the best of the best was the Partagas 150....they made 1M cigars for Partagas 150th aniversary...out of 20 year old wrapper that they found in a warehouse in Spain. Other than that High price and name recognition mean absolutely *****, so expensive high falutin names ain't always the best. So todays daily fix is my Dominco bought by the Bundle...Turanos is the name Brand cigar that they produce. Another Cigar that I like alot, is the Private Stock Churchill or #1..they are Davidoff and Avo 2nds. Great value for the $$$.

Got a couple of Monte Cristo's in my humidor at home with other random cigars, I think I might have a couple of Romeo & Juliette's in there too. Just got a box of the Rocky Patel's. Any of you guys buy cigars online? I have had real good luck with cigars international.
