Oich....Man bitten by snake on porch
Lawton, always Lawton.
For those that don't know, Lawton is basically known as the armpit of Oklahoma Video at link https://www.kswo.com/2019/05/08/lawt...cked-by-snake/ |
My father was born in Rush Springs seemingly not too far away. I've never been there but checked it out on Google Earth once. I can't imagine a place that would rank as more of an arm pit.

Lawton is like the Florida of Oklahoma. If there’s crazy **** on the news it’s from that part of the state.
That area also has lots of snakes. Nearly got tagged by a diamond back just outside of Lawton... |

For those that don't Know, Lawton is the city that grew up around and next to Ft. Sill.
Fort Sill, Oklahoma is a United States Army post north of Lawton, Oklahoma, about 85 miles southwest of Oklahoma City. It covers almost 94,000 acres. The fort was first built during the Indian Wars. It has been there long before Oklahoma was a state. Geronimo was imprisoned there. The city is literately right along the fence line on the south of the base. Most any Army guy trained in artillery has been there. Like any city that lives and dies by the military they have good areas of town and lots of cheap housing for the enlisted men level of pay. |

We’re were in Enid, OK recently. The pilots were out flying the trainers. One or two at a time flew over every few minutes. The locals love that sound.

so a venomous snake pounces from behind a screen door and bites a man on the face..and all of it is caught on a doorbell camera..
we talk about RUSH, and geography? hahha.. (my turn) what's your take on screen doors? i love a really good architectural relevant door, hate to cover it up with a screen door..you? |
"You've reached the residence of Thulsa Doom.
I'm sorry, no one is available to come to the door right now....Oh- wait- nevermind- He coming up front right now. Please hold." http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1557412401.jpg |

Spent many months training at Altus over the years and I have never seen so many skunks. The live ones on base and the dead ones on the highway to Lawton.
