^definitely best to work with people who are experienced. To that end, I asked my friend at Dawes Motorsports (Peter Dawe is somewhat of a legend in Porsche-land) if they have a recommended 915 builder in Michigan. I was given the name Jeff Kolk. Have his contact info should you want it OP (send me PM).

In most cases, making a slow car fast is going to cost more money than simply selling your slow car and buying a fast one. I never considered my SC to be slow but I also never considered it fast. By the time you do cams, new fuel system, transmission replacement or reinforcement, and turbocharging you will probably be into driver quality 930 territory. Not to mention the host of other legitimately fast cars that you could buy for SC money. I think you are headed down the totally wrong path here.
