Creative Music Videos

What do you think are some of the most creative videos ever produced?

Peter Gabriel has to take the trophy for all he has created - I've included a couple of his here - but there are many more.

Here's a few off the top of my head that I think were really top notch:

(Technically, none of my posts here are that game changing, but creatively, I think all three are pretty good)

This one caught my eye recently

Did anyone ever leave this mortal coil any better than Bowie?

I think that one is better than the official video for that song.

Couple more classics.

Never hurts to have a catchy song with catchy lyrics. These two are very creative and right up my ally!

Silly/funny 1980's creativity.

The tight spaces and overkill youth mayhem in this vid really captures the song's theme.

Pretty creative vid for this twisted, Avenged Sevenfold classic.

I once worked with a guy that was convinced that the video portion of a music video came before the song writing and performance. That the music, lyrics and all came after the video was shot.

Yes the M-TV generation's perspective on reality was that skewed.

I wish that I was making this all up.

I asked him how he thought music was made before music videos, he said something to the effect that nobody really listened to music back in the stone age so it doesn't count.

One strange guy.
