Just a fun read
What ever happened to America's love affair with cars? Has been touched on here, but this guy's writing reminds me of P.J. O'Rourke style.
https://nypost.com/2019/06/10/what-ever-happened-to-americas-love-affair-with-cars/ from the piece: What happened? How did an entire generation — OK, two guys — lose their love of that quintessential American desire to get in, floor it, barrel down the freeway with the radio loud, hit a concrete post and have the steering column spear you in the sternum like a plastic sword piercing a cocktail olive?

I've only read the first few inches, but so far, it's hilarious!
