Anyone Have a Rubaroc Deck?
I have a very large poolside area coated on Rubabroc.
The coating is five years old, but has worn thin in several areas, and not high traffic areas. It appears to me that the skim coat was very thin, and now I have bare spots. As a second issue, the little rubber balls are separating and and getting tracked into the pool and onto the wood deck. The installer will not do a warranty repair, he says it needs to be replaced. Has anyone had similar issues with Rubaroc? Anyone have a 'topcoat' suggestion? Something to seal the rubber and prevent the bits from tracking? |
Just sent a text to my complex mate that has a Sundeck business. You never know. I think most of their stuff is solid but worth bouncing it off of him.

He did know the rubberized coatings have little spheres but has no clue what to coat it with.
