Had great luck with Samsung Fridges. Our latest kitchen renovation included another one. Never would I buy one of their laundry machines or dishwashers again, ever.

Bosch dishwashers and Fulgor Milano stoves....

My Samsung french door has been flawless now for 8 years. Best fridge I ever owned and miles better than the crap Maytag that preceded it. I repaired the Maytag 10 times in 10 years for all the cheapazz stuff that failed.

Excellent temp control and quick chill, dead quiet, ice maker seems a bit slow to recover after a party but has been otherwise flawless. Very low energy use. Will buy again when this one finally dies.

I guess those South Koreans built this one right.

I really wanted a Liebherr refrigerator 24" wide freezer on the bottom, I can get away with smaller since its just two of us and fresh food is everywhere, why pay to keep food cold? The supermarket does that.. anyway I also Like Blomberg fridge, looks pretty similar. I have lived with a really small Summit for 10 years and its time too get a bigger one so a new Summit it is, less than half price of the others. I will see how it goes, should arrive a week or so. Right now I need the extra cash for Porsche parts!

On a side -note I took my 1999- 2000 Meile washing machine apart 3 times and finally figured out the (relatively easy) fix.
Thank goodness, I love that thing -beautiful piece of technology. Hate to have to buy a washer and a fridge the same month.

Sub Zero will sticker-shock you but i was really patient and found a basically brand new one on Craigslist.

The parts chain for Sub Zero and Wolf is really great. Almost as good as Honda lol.
