My Work Art Project
My Superintendent came to me a few months ago with an idea of painting an American flag on this 40ft container. He also wanted some kind of logo that represented who we are.
So I made a few sketches, came up with a logo and got it approved. First I had to pressure wash the container, level it, prime the are you see, add 3 coats of bright white and finally start painting the flag. Using simple math to scale from a small existing flag, then sizing the stars and lettering correctly and ordering from the vinyl graphics shop. Took me 5 days in the hot sun, was a lot more difficult than I previously thought. Because our shop is the smallest of the 4 facilities in the county is the meaning.http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1559765939.jpg http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1559765939.jpg http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1559765939.jpg |
Cool, that will get attention. Good job.

Need the domain name underneath in smaller print, and possibly a QR code.

You did a great job making that look great on that surface. I'm envious of your skills. Congratulations.

Nice work. 👍🏼

Thanks all!

Looks great!

The corrugated wall really works for the flag. Well done.

You could take it to another level if you put your Gary Larson avatar about 4 feet high in the lower right.
Somebody with mad Photoshop skills cook that up using the top photo and post it here. Please. |
^^^^^ That's funny man, that image of how that would look in my minds eye - made me spit coffee out my nose this morning! Great idea^^^^
|
Well done! And glad you got the flag right.

Oh well... I don't have Photoshop, so here's the best I could do. If someone else here would do a proper job with the transparent layer thing happening so that bright white disappears, I'll gladly delete this post.
