Fire stick

Two questions.
1, What are your go to aps ? I use Cinema and Freeflix. Both pretty good.
2, Do you update them ? Sometimes updates seem to have negative effects.

Amazon Prime, Netflix. Acorn TV and ESPN/ There are several others that I watch infrequently if at all. Did watch some Popular Science the other night.

Kodi for hosting applications.

Exodus for movies. Once in a great while it gets wonky.

I like Youtube in Kodi and that's where I spend too much time. It's not officially licensed by YouTube but a 3rd party build. No silly advert stuff. Search on a topic and you get line items with a little synopsis on the left with a thumbnail. The comment section is absent. If interested in exact app info just ask. I will have my kid dig into it and I will revert

Never updated but it's only been since Christmas that I have been using.

Yeah, some particulars on that might be helpful. I like the concept as I can spend a whole even on YT once I fall into the rabbit hole.

So Kodi is working now ? It was pretty useless last year so I removed it . I get Youtube on my smart TV and it works OK.
