married 41 years today !
 

Wow where has the time gone ? Today Sue and I celebrate 41 years of wedded bliss :D . Through the highs and lows that life threw at us we kept moving forward , she completes me there is no doubt about it . We have had the pleasure and honor of raising two fine boys into men , both are positive contributors to society and never been in trouble . Just two great kids that we are proud of ;) Also have three grandchildren that we spoil as much as possible . Today will be a normal quiet day and tonight we'll go out for a nice dinner to celebrate . I am a lucky guy SmileWavy

Mrs. oldE and I are closing in on 43 years in September.
I marvel at how those two kids had enough sense to recognize what they each needed in the other to make it.

Nice to see some of you have not joined the divorce statistics :D Sue and I were compatible right from the start , there was an instant connection . We dated for 2 years so have been together 43 years . She is and has been very tolerant of my car DIY hobby over the years . We are both now retired at the ripe ages of 61 + 62 and just loving life ;) Hoping to hit 50 years and beyond .

Congratulations for staying together for 41 years. You and your wife have set a stable example for your children. Pretty rare these days.

Congratulations to you both. I'll never make it to that number in my married life. We're coming up on our 22nd, but I was 55 when we married. We knew each other for `12 years before being married. I should have pulled the long trigger before I did.

37 here after doing 9 the first time around. And I didn't marry the first time until I was 26.

Congrats everyone! 35 five years with my wife. This Sunday.She caught my eye when she was fifteen , me eighteen. Married at 24. Two great kids son and daughter. And two grand daughters. She really does complete me. Heading to Mexico for a four day getaway 😉. Life is good!
