11 year old fights intruder with a machete
|
That’s awesome.

All's well that ends well? Good for that kid! If it were my grandson that defended his home of course I'd be proud but I'd make sure that I properly expressed my fears of how it all could have ended very badly.

Sounds like the intruder was a bit of a maroon.

Jataveon Dashawn Hall. Hmm...
I remember many years ago when our local Seattle news, both print and television (and now internet) pretty much across the board announced that they would no longer report on the race of those perpetrating these kinds of crimes. They felt that including the perps' race in their reporting somehow "unfairly" biased their readership, since they felt as though the perps seem to have been "disproportionately" black. Even in cases wherein the perp was still on the loose, our media now avoids naming this vital piece of information that might aid the public in identifying and turning in even potentially violent criminals. So, kudos to CNN for at least showing a picture of him - after he was already caught. The Washington Post couldn't even manage that, and nowhere in their story - before or after he got apprehended - did they supply this vital piece of identifying information. PC run amok. I wonder how long before they stop reporting their names, the dead giveaways that so many of them have now become. Nobody else names their kids like that. Anyway, good on young Braydon for splitting this ass clown's wig. He shoulda swung a little harder - could have saved everyone a bunch of money, and further trouble down the road. Now young Jataveon Dashawn Hall just gets to go to grad school, and further refine his skills. He'll get out and go right back to the same b.s. Maybe the next guy will swing a little harder. We can only hope. |
When word gets round he was served by an 11 year old it’s not his wig getting split he will need to be worrying about. Bubbas going to be real happy...

There was an article earlier in the local paper that kept using the term "judicial involved teens" and I figured it was kids wanting to get into law enforcement. So I read some more and wow, was I wrong. A judicial involved teens is what used to be call a juvenile delinquent, but we don't want to use a negative label or say bad things to hurt their feelings. |
It's kind of a shame the kid didn't get a few more good whacks in.

If the kid had killed him, it would have worked on that kid's head the rest of his life. Pretty sure my 12 year old grandson would have gone out a window and got the heck out of there.
