Somebody trying to tell me to stay home?

I've been planning to get out on the Ducati for a road trip, just a good old wandering "walk about", but the rain has forced me to repeatedly delay for over a week now. Was a time I'd just go even in the rain but I'm too old for that now, and it's not much fun in the rain. Woke up this morning ...rain again. Supposed to clear for the weekend but all of my destination choices are calling for rain on Monday, maybe the spirits are telling me to bag it for now. sigh

Dumping rain here this morning as well.
Not riding the mountain bike and beating up wet trails. Plus I don't like doing the extra maintenance....
Getting pretty impatient and it looks like it will be a while before it dries up.

We are about 9-10" above average rainfall. I heard a few days ago, that it had rained a measurable amount 111 out of 166 days this year....still areas in my yard that I can't mow, and pool is 70*.

My little weather station says we've had 25.6 in. of rain this season, but it's over with now. Been waking up to beautiful mornings for some time now. What I'm not too happy about is the fact days will be getting shorter from now on.

I've done road trips in the dumping rain on a motorcycle. It was not a lot of fun. And isn't it supposed to be about fun?

I'm a little south of you. It's only rained once here in the last month. Started about May 15 and hasn't stopped yet.
My pool is 71%.

I’m waiting to get on a plane to Palm Springs on my way to pick up a new-to-me bike and ride back to San Jose this weekend. Haven’t quite decided my route yet. I’ve done Hwy 1 twice in the past year, so lookin for something different.

Can’t beat California weather.
