F als
A dear friend was recently diagnosed with ALS. She'll soon be completely confined to a wheelchair and is in need of a lift to be able to get in to her appartment.
I hate to even leave this here, but I also know the power of this community. If you're so inclined please consider a donation. gf.me/u/tpd23j Mods please delete this post if it's out of line. Thank you all! |
Yep. There's nothing pleasant about that disease.

I lost a long time friend to this this year, very hard, especially since I knew this young man since he was like 6.http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1561431704.jpg

My neighbor 2 doors down, his mother was diagnosed and died in less than a year. Terrible disease.

My former Mrs passed just prior to last Christmas due to ALS. 18 months from diagnosis to passing, awful disease. Condolences to you and a prayer for your friend.

Thanks guys. It's been a rough time for her, and a rough couple of days for us since we've learned the news.
Appreciate the support! |
For the Seattle locals, you can help by buying a beer at Skookum, Whitewall, and Crucible Breweries this Saturday the 6th.
Join Skookum, Whitewall, and Crucible in efforts to raise funds for Cindy! To help support her in her fight, on Saturday July 6th, we will be donating $1 of every beer purchased to go towards a new wheelchair lift for her second story apartment. Skookum, Whitewall, and Crucible will each be participating at their own locations. For more information on Cindy's story, or if you are unable to make the event but would still like to contribute, please consider visiting the following link to donate: www.gofundme.com/f/help-cindy-zink-courageously-quotstick-itquot-to-als |
