The cop gave the guy a lot of warnings. "I need a supervisor" is not a substitute for cooperating with LE who need to secure the scene first. I would fully expect to get tazed if I acted that way.

BTW the tazer missed. That's why they have models with two cartridges. He could have also gone for a drive stun.

Wrong

He admitted to losing control of the vehicle. Hand over license and registration as requested. Don't ignore the request and attempt to walk away.

Who's on the power trip? The guy who is pulled over for speeding and reckless driving, who won't hand over ID? You are required to cooperate with the police who pull you over. The guy just decided to get up and walk away rather than hand over ID. The cop gave the guy more than enough warnings. That alone warranted cuffs. Fighting with a cop warrants arrest. The dumb guy wrote his own ticket to jail.

Anytime a citizen asks for for a supervisor to be called....comply unless it's "go time" .

It was not go time...LEO needs help...a tazer against a 300lb in winter clothes is STOOPID....as shown.

Anybody that blames the cop for that incident is an idiot. All the guy had to do was comply with what the cop asked for, which was reasonable under the circumstances. Anybody going 60 miles an hour down a snow-covered street and losing control deserves a ****ing ticket. If I were a judge in that case I’d give that ******* 30 days in jail to ponder how he might behave better in the future.

You may not like cops but when you commit a crime and try to pull a stunt like that I’ve got no ****ing sympathy for you.

Toss out the speeding since the guy didn't admit to that. He did admit to losing control of the vehicle in icy conditions. Hand over the license and registration.

All I can say is there were major problems on both sides of that equation. Clearly the black dude was under the influence of something. Cop at half this guys size had no business attempting to subdue him alone. He should have waited for back up. Of course the chick was useless and it appears the rest of the cavalry wasn't much better. And it took them how long to show up to back up shorty?

Lets look at the bright side. No one got shot.

The dude admitted he spun out. The officer was correct. The officer had reason to for the stop No supervisor needed at that time.

They get dead because they do stupid chit like this guy and refuse an officers legal request and escalate a situation.

Hand over license and registration. Worst case he gets a ticket. Best case he gets a warning.

Ended up arrested and in the slammer. Because he refused to hand over license and registration after spinning out of control. What an idiot. .

I like cops....most of them. Have had 'em as tennants, called on them quite a bit, and they've cut me a lot of slack...

But I'm never gonna agree ...'cause I've just seen too much BS.

I'd like to hear our PPOT LEOs give their take....it's a tough job.
