Pricey, yes. Certainly cool. I think Chuck Moreland and his crew have a lot of development time into that. I wish them luck and success.

It should be a mainstay for all vehicles imo.
A separate system from the ICE powertrain which supplies only when needed. Reduced engine load.
Big power for small weight setback.

Makes more sense than adding heavy individual hub motors to unsprung weight.
