Nice job with those four.

Last one is pretty frisky.

Thanks, I picked that version for those youngsters that weren't old enough to enjoy the "Swinging 60s." Still love the women's fashions.

Gotta add one more, though not really a one-hit-wonder as it's by the great Bo Diddley.

It is just odd enough to fit the "weird" category, IMO, and when it was released, it met the criteria of a 12-year-old for a song that needed to be memorized and reused in interactions with his peers.

Here's some more from the memory bank.

Alley Oop, the Hollywood Argyles

Tan Shoes and Pink Shoe laces, Dodi Stevens

Black Denim Trousers, the Cheers, 1955. One of the first "tragedy" songs of teen death.

Hit is questionable on little Marcy. Weird for sure.

Sukiyaki, by Kyu Sakamoto. International hit and was #1 on U.S. charts in 1963.
<iframe width="560" height="315" src="https://www.youtube.com/embed/SsDe1ho1zIQ" frameborder="0" allow="accelerometer; autoplay; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture" allowfullscreen></iframe>

Oh yeah, here are the lyrics,

On the weird side there's this:

The "shoot me now" comment had me thinking that we should probably start a new thread on ANNOYING songs. Of course, you can just go ahead and say almost anything disco.
