My 38th anniversary in in 3 days. Met my wife in freshman English class 45 years ago. Couldn't do this life thing without her.

Hugh, just as a side note, on my phone with Tapatalk the thread title shows up truncated.

All I saw was "I really don't want to come out" and I thought wait, WHAT???

You just need more hobbies, not another job! Stick to retirement.

Thanks all for keeping me straight. I've decided to not worry about jobs/work. I need to enjoy what life I have left. Taking the big A$$ RV around the country is something that I do enjoy, Maybe not everyone's cup-of-tea, but me, the wife and the dog sure do enjoy it.SmileWavy

My wife’s been jonesing for a diesel Class B for years. I think it’s on next year’s to-do list. We both love road tripping. Until then, I can live vicariously through you guys. :)

Jim

Class A gasoline, front engine. I love it, I have a friend with a Class A diesel and it nice but WAY more maintenance.

Thanks for the feedback, Hugh. Something for me to dig into. We’re likely to go with a MB Sprinter based RV, unless research drives us in a different direction.

Now, don’t let those thoughts of working sneak back up on you again. This retirement gig rocks.

I heard somewhere that every year of retirement is about 5% of the time you have left....do you really want to squander that, and give it back to MegaCorp ?

"Makin' money you can't spend ain't what being dead's about" - DBT

I'm almost certain .....99.99482583% sure that that last year is 100% :)

....unless you never retire :(

I have a degree in that stuff too ;)

The world is full of people who died within two years of their retirement date.

Wait, that didn't come out right ....

PS I'd rather work 12 hours a day than deal with the hassle of going places in an RV, but that's just me.
Most people like travelling, I do not.

I guess my Pusher is under maintained. All I've done is oil and air filter changes. Curious what all this maintenance is. Just got back from 7K roadtrip. Ran like a top.

Wait, I lied. I changed the fuel filters before this trip

Ain't enough $ in $$$$$... to get me to do what Motion and Hugh love to do...

It's hard to keep people off your lawn when you are a long ways away from it!

That’s great to hear, Michael. I think the key is staying faithful to the maintenance plan.
