What is this tool?
I came across this tool that I think is a powder activated (nail) gun of some type.
Anyone have any ideas? http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1565024925.jpg http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1565024925.jpg http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1565024925.jpg http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1565024925.jpg http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1565024925.jpg http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1565024925.jpg |
Guessing some sort of gun powder driven nail/stud driver as you say.
A friend rented a vacant parking lot to sell Christmas trees and he bought one of these guns to nail 2x4's down into the surface. First and last time I had ever heard of this application. |

When I did construction we called it a Ramset, which is a brand name (like calling a copier a Xerox machine). We used it to attach bottom plates on framed walls to concrete slab foundations.
|
Called a "pin gun" too.
