Unique Garage Art - FS

Hey all,

I have a genuine large scale 'Ausfahrt' metal road sign from the Autobahn that has a good story to go with it. My understanding that it was made and erected in the 60's. Very good shape overall.

It is @10' long X 3' tall - in good condition

Similar to the one below but more rounded edges.

$1200.

It's both large and heavy. I had it mounted in my former garage - but just do not have the wall space now.

PM me please for more information - thanks!

That's a big Ausfahrt... Haha

But seriously where does one come across such a big exit sign?

You don't realize how big those street signs are until you stop in front of it.

I want a real SLOWER TRAFFIC KEEP RIGHT and a CA-1 green shield from California.

It was through a customer some years back who's husband was stationed in Germany in late 60's. They lived off base. She worked elsewhere in the private industry.

In his service - they lived all over the world and subsequently the sign went with them. There are several shipping stickers from different parts of the world. Paid for by tax payer $$'s

If you don’t feel like committing a felony stealing one, you could always have a sign company make one for you. ;) my parents own a sign shop and used to make some street signs, they aren’t too complicated.

I think the statue of limitations has run out in this case....
