Having an electronic device prototyped?
I want a device that no one seems to make. I am so irritated by this, and so convinced that there are others who would buy it, I have thought of throwing some $ towards having a prototype built. Btw, nothing groundbreaking here, I just want a stereo line mixer in a particular configuration.
I don't remotely have the time or talent to build such a thing. Does anyone have a vendor they have dealt with? I don't care where they are on earth as long as they (at least vaguely) keep their promises. |

Freelance gig. Check your local colleges for a Grad student that needs a couple of bucks. |

There is a tv show called make me a millionaire inventory, they use a couple of prototyping places.
I think this is one of them: https://www.bluefishconcepts.com/ |
Contact Paul G. at this place: https://www.avidaerospace.com/
I work with them designing UAS and Paul's folks work a lot with prototyping gear for our UASs and know a lot of small companies that may be able to help. |
I am an ME but I occasionally dabble in EE and audio diy.
I am not sure what you are trying to accomplish but if you let us know maybe someone can suggest something off the shelf. There is a ton of stuff to do this sort of thing and sometimes the names are not logical for said devices. I assume you have searched through parts express. Also, you can do just about anything in the minidsp devices with the right plug in. Mini dsp would likely be overkill but they are cheap and fun to play with you can basically mix, level shift, and eq if you want anything with one of these: https://www.minidsp.com/products/minidsp-in-a-box/minidsp-2x4 |
