Built for the hyper rich, and folks that just have no taste.

Exactly. I could spend 9 million on cars if I had ludicrous money, but that would be WAY down the list.

For less than the cost of a set of tires for that thing, I'm pretty sure that I could have a fully optioned C8 Corvette for around town AND a fully race-prepped C8 Corvette for track days.

It looks a lot better than the EB110. Yech. Never cared for that design. Dated from the day it was released. I actually like this Centodieci's looks. I'd still take an F40 over it, but then again, if I already had 9 F40s in the stable...

But in this world there are many young extremely wealthy men that would be interested. Meanwhile, the company gets the exposure. They didn't make it for us.

They called me, but I told them "no thanks, guys, not this time."

My first thought looking at the pictures - it looks out dated even brand new.

Id rather have a Jaguar XJ220 parked next to a XJ15

For sure, this is a toy for the folks that have billion dollar yachts, and private islands. And the folks that want others to know they spend crazy money on one car.

At least they didn't name it macan or cayenne or cayman or jozzwistle.

I would take the lightweight car. The way they have been going, Bugatti makes a really heavy car and then has to make a really, really big engine in it to make it quick. A super car should not weigh more than two tons.

Well this is why I just bought an F40 instead.:p

For that money I'd rather have a 917/30 and a pair of '73 RS Lightweights. And a VW van.

Also funny that they are paying homage to a supercar that nobody at the time really liked all that much.

Way too much money for a glorified Audi

Bugattis are pretty nice looking up close. Saw this carbon fiber Chiron in Dubai last week parked in front of my hotel. Build quality is incredible. Not sure where comments like "that won't age well" or "its a glorified Audi" are coming from but I'm certain the people who are paying $4M+ for a car don't really care either way.
