Spend some time (lots) going through the history of VIR at their history site (VIR History - Virginia International Raceway History) to find the Porsche powered special that had the WHOLE back half of the car raise up about 45 degrees or so to act as a sort of "air brake" under breaking! It was determined to be "illegal"!

It's been a while since I've been up to VIR...only been there twice...my "bad". I'm gonna run this by a coupla buds (who were along)....what an awesome track....mebbe I'll twist an arm or two.
I'll be in a tye dye, shorts, and a hat....wearing shades, holding a beer...or in disguise  ...But y'all do know the "bird call"..... Hooty-hoot  !

It was a little rainy today, but saw some good racing (Porsche won, but then lost because of a penalty).
I got carded at the Porsche tent and I had no card. Does PCA issue cards? If so I have lost mine. If I had bothered to drive the P car I could have just flashed the key. Tomorrow they say no rain so hoping for a great day.

Spoiler alert ! Good race and glad Katherine Legge is alright that was a heavy hit into the tire barrier . Great one two finish for Porsche ! They do amazingly quick driver changes. I am looking forward to seeing them at Petit LeMans .
