Some helpful insight on anxiety

I know that there have been several threads in the past regarding anxiety/panic attacks etc., but I just stumbled across this and thought it was worth sharing:

Interesting vid.

I wonder if he knows that his anxiety is not centered around what other people are doing, but rather is centered about his potential (ugly) reaction to those people. - No doubt he is capable of bringing the noise. ...or his favorite song.

Everybody has a built in coping mechanism..that we learn in childhood as a response to various situations in life. Later in life we may have an experience or come to a realization that puts our learned system on overload.

What one has to realize is that what can be considered a normal response to a situation is to feel anexity. For example if you are a soldier going into battle it would be normal to be fearful as you might be killed. If you are exposed for long enough I believe you will develope an aversion to putting yourself in that situation. Your coping mechanism.will be worn down. You are in a sense telling yourself that the situation you are in is intolerable and you have to get out..you have had enough.

That guy's self-esteem would sky-rocket if he cleaned up his language. It's a sign of laziness.

It's like taking a word and moving a letter within it ranomdly. Of course you'd have anexity and your whole life would be impaired by virtue of avoiding a simple fix.
